The walk of shame.

Or why stretching is SO important.

So, you’ve killed your run.

You’ve burned your cheeseburguers and you feel like you can’t walk an extra single step. So you stop, jump on any bus (ah the joys of city runs) and start heading home whilst you update your social media to tell the world that you’ve been killing yourself for over 45 minutes. Except, you don’t know the worst is yet to come.

So you get home, eat a couple big animals and get some much needed couch/bed time only to be awoken by a nightmare: all your limbs have gone funny on you. For the life of you, you can’t bloody move! Why? Why oh body oh why? Why are you doing this to me? Well, that’s because you didn’t warm down and stretch after your run . 🙂

Here’s some of the benefits of stretching.

-Increased blodflow.
-Helps muscle recovery.
-Eases pain.
-Helps relaxing.
-Works on your flexibility.

And it helps you walk the next day. Stretching is crucial!
